As a society, we’re more health-conscious than ever before. You might be wondering if what you’re putting into your body is benefiting your health. So, just what are the health benefits of sparkling water?
1. Stay hydrated
On average, over half of a healthy body is made up of water. Dehydration occurs when you lose more fluid than you take in, affecting the healthy balance of minerals in your body (3). That’s why it’s vital to drink enough fluid on a daily basis. If you find it challenging to get enough water throughout the day, sparkling water can be a great way to stay well hydrated* with a little added sparkle.
2. Maintaining your temperature
As well as keeping you hydrated*, water plays a vital role when it comes to maintaining a healthy body temperature***. If you play sports or sweat more than usual, perhaps due to hot weather or a fever, drinking enough water is very important.
